William P. Conaboy and Judy Wang Mayer joined Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as an associate and senior attorney, respectively, in the firm’s health care section.
Both were previously with Cozen O’Connor.
Conaboy spent several years working as a pharmacist in New Jersey prior to his time in private practice.
Before joining Cozen O’Connor, Mayer clerked for U.S. District Judge Berle M. Schiller of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Chad Staller, president of the Center for Forensic Economic Studies, presented at the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners‘ annual conference in Philadelphia.
Staller spoke on the interaction of economists and life care planners in catastrophic loss cases.
Staller’s practice concentrates on the calculation of damages in personal injury/wrongful-death matters, employment discrimination matters and commercial disputes.
Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Andrew K. Stutzman is set to present at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute‘s 17th annual Real Estate Institute on Thursday in Philadelphia.
Stutzman will present the session, “Litigation Issues in Residential Mortgage Foreclosures,” which will feature a discussion of the latest trends and opinions in residential mortgage foreclosures, as well as predictions on the future of the industry.
Stutzman chairs Stradley Ronon’s mortgage and lending litigation practice group.
Murray S. Levin, a partner with Pepper Hamilton, spoke at the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) 57th Congress in Macau, China.
Levin, who is a member of the UIA’s governing board and a presidential counselor, presented a talk on “Mediation as a Tool in Complex Products Liability Litigation.”
He also participated in the “Large Law Firm Forum” and spoke about the impact of the economic downturn on large U.S. law firms.
The UIA is the world’s oldest international lawyers association.
Levin concentrates his practice on medical device and pharmaceutical products liability cases and an array of commercial litigation matters.

At Lamb McErlane, she concentrates her practice on representing companies in corporate and business law counseling, as well as corporate and financing transactions.
