Thomas A. Muccifori, a partner with Archer & Greiner, is taking part in a panel for a seminar that also includes presiding Chancery judges from South and Central New Jersey.
The panel is discussing general equity and probate practices and procedures, including orders to show cause and emergent applications.
The program takes place from 4 to 6:15 p.m. today at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Mount Laurel, N.J. It is presented by the Burlington County Bar Association‘s general equity section.
Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Andrew K. Stutzman is scheduled to moderate “Views From the Bench Part One: Judicial Perspectives on Class Certification, Arbitration, the Evolution of the Law, Settlement Considerations, the Latest Plaintiff Theories, Emerging Defense Strategies, E-Discovery and More” at the American Conference Institute‘s 15th National Conference on Consumer Finance Class Actions and Litigation in New York on Friday.
Stutzman is chair of the firm’s mortgage and lending litigation practice group.
James W. Saxton, chair of Stevens & Lee‘s health care litigation group and co-chair of the health care department, was chosen as one of two lawyers to join the faculty of the 29th Annual Conference on Obstetrics, Gynecology, Perinatal Medicine, Neonatology and the Law from January 2-6 in Kauai, Hawaii.
Saxton presented “The Neurologically Impaired Baby: Science vs. Sympathy.”
The conference was sponsored by the Boston University School of Medicine.
Elected and Appointed
Matthew R. Shindell and Sean T. Stadelman were named special counsel at Goldberg Segalla.
Both are resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office and previously held the title of associate.

Roberta Liebenberg, a partner at Fine, Kaplan and Black, was the recipient of the inaugural award for “Outstanding Contributions to Gender Diversity and Equality” at the Chambers Women in Law awards ceremony in New York City on January 15.
Liebenberg currently serves as chair of the American Bar Association‘s Gender Equity Task Force.
