• On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Public Interest Section is set to present a panel presentation, “The Court Collections Effort in Philadelphia: Fair Game or Foul Play?” from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Philadelphia Bar Association, 11th floor Conference Center, 1101 Market St. The program is set to be moderated by David Udell from the National Center for Access to Justice. • On Thursday, Philadelphia VIP, the hub of pro bono legal services in Philadelphia, is scheduled to present a free CLE training program titled, “Quiet Title: Handling Cases Involving Problems With Title to Real Estate,” from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, 1600 Market St., Suite 3600. The training program is set to be taught by Edward J. Hayes and Robert S. Tintner, partners at Fox Rothschild, and will cover the legal grounds, procedures and forms for bringing a quiet title action, with an emphasis on the issues that low-income clients frequently encounter in obtaining title to a property. Lunch will be provided. Attorneys participating in this seminar will receive two free CLE credits if they accept a VIP case within six months of the training.
