To settle an ethics investigation, Assistant U.S. Attorney Laurie Magid has agreed to serve a 100-day suspension as punishment for violating federal restrictions on political activity in connection with fundraising events for U.S. Rep. Patrick L. Meehan and former U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter.
