Noom has hired Norman Petty, the legal chief of dating app firm Meet Group, as general counsel—the latest of sweeping leadership changes at the weight-loss company under new CEO Geoff Cook.
Petty has been general counsel of New Hope, Pennsylvania-based Meet Group since March 2021. Before that, he worked for two decades, in nonconsecutive stints, at Dow Jones, publisher of The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s.
