United Auto Workers Local 644, which went on strike on Sept. 11, was sued by Marine Acquisition on Sept. 22 in Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Montgomery County. The suit, brought by Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders, accuses picketers of unlawfully blocking employees and delivery drivers from accessing the plaintiff’s manufacturing plant in Limerick. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2023-21091, Marine Acquisition LLC v. United Auto Workers Local 644.
