McGinley has a legacy of over 50 years practicing law in Pennsylvania. He has had an incredible impact on countless organizations in the state, and selflessly serves the community through his legal career, philanthropy, and nonprofit service.

McGinley graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1965. He earned his J.D. at Duquesne University School of Law in 1968 and immediately dove into a fulfilling legal career as an Assistant District Attorney of Allegheny County. In 1971, he co-founded Grogan, Graffam, McGinley & Lucchino, where he practiced and led the firm for more than 30 years. He joined Eckert Seamans’ Pittsburgh office in 2002 as an equity partner and serves as vhair of the firm’s board of directors. He also chaired the firm’s executive committee for more than eight years.
