The Commonwealth Court has upheld an order from a workers’ compensation judge Tuesday awarding a former Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority bus driver total disability benefits after she claimed to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder due to two separate incidents when bullets struck the bus she was driving.

The Workers’ Compensation Board previously upheld the award in August 2021 after BARTA appealed the WCJ’s order granting bus driver Lena Katzenmoyer full disability benefits in November 2020.
