A Chester County attorney’s misconduct for failing to adequately file a client’s disability benefits application and inadequately completing a client’s estate planning request warranted a public reprimand, the Disciplinary Board for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania said.
Paoli attorney James J. Ruggiero Jr., 58, has practiced law in Pennsylvania since December 1990, and he maintains an estate planning firm, Ruggiero Law Offices. A request for comment from his counsel, James C. Schwartzman of Stevens & Lee in Philadelphia, went unanswered.
