After a double-decade-long career with the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, former U.S. Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams has accepted an offer from Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan to join the 12-lawyer partnership next month. Firm leaders said she will work out of the New York office.

Officials with the Eastern District said Arbittier Williams will remain employed by the office until the end of the month to assist with the transition to successor Jacqueline Romero, who was sworn into the role of U.S. Attorney in June of this year. Arbittier Williams’ first day at the firm will be Sept. 6, according to leaders at the firm.
