The former marketing chief at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby this week settled a Pennsylvania federal lawsuit that raised allegations of workplace discrimination and retaliation against the Philadelphia firm.

Ellen Ragone, who worked as Weber Gallagher’s chief marketing officer from 2012 until she was let go in 2020, had accused the firm in a July 2021 complaint of discriminating against her based on her age and retaliating against her after she raised concerns about unfair treatment of non-white employees.
