The voters of East Pikeland Township, Chester County, have elected attorney Emily J. Gorge as township supervisor. Gorge was sworn into her newly elected office by Judge John Hipple at the Jan. 3 township reorganization meeting.
Prior to being elected township supervisor, Gorge served as tax collector for six years and as chairperson of the Township Open Space Committee.
