The Pennsylvania Office of Disciplinary Counsel is seeking to have William Fedullo suspended from the practice of law for two years, while counsel for the former Philadelphia Bar Association chancellor is asking for the lesser sanction of a public reprimand.

The parties staked out their positions during a tense hearing before a three-member panel of Pennsylvania’s Disciplinary Board on Tuesday. The approximately 40-minute hearing comes after the Disciplinary Board’s hearing committee split 2-1 to recommend Fedullo undergo a public reprimand. The dissenting committee member recommended Fedullo be suspended for one year and one day.
