After years of referring client work to one another, Philadelphia-headquartered boutiques Weir & Partners and Greenblatt Pierce Funt & Flores have now combined to form a single practice, attorneys with the firms confirmed Tuesday.

Leadership at the newly combined firm, which has taken the name Weir Greenblatt Pierce, said all employees have been retained in the merger, making for a head count of 36 lawyers and 17 staff members. Firm leaders plan to relocate those practicing at the Philadelphia office of the Greenblatt firm to the Weir firm’s newly renovated headquarters in the city’s Widener Building by April 1.
