A former attorney who handled adoption cases has been sentenced to one and a half years in federal prison for stealing clients’ retainer fees as part of a pyramid scheme he created.
In addition to the prison sentence, U.S. District Judge Gene E.K. Pratter of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ordered Steven G. Dubin, 66, of Holland, to pay $74,800 in restitution.
