After suffering two major setbacks in federal and state appeals courts rejecting efforts to overturn Pennsylvania’s election results, President Donald Trump’s campaign and its allies are now hanging their hopes on the U.S. Supreme Court, where a handful of disputes have now landed.

The latest blow to the numerous challenges filed in the wake of the Nov. 3 election came in a decision by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Nov. 28. In a per curiam order, the justices rejected a lawsuit brought by U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pennsylvania, that sought to overturn the state’s election results by invalidating the state’s recently adopted Election Code, which expanded mail-in voting.
