A Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas judge has ruled that a Social Security benefits administrator had no duty of care for the sexual assault of a former nursing home resident, now deceased, whose daughter sued for negligence.
Plaintiff Melody Rogowski, the administrator of the estate of her late mother, Rose M. Wegimont, filed suit against Harrison House Personal Care, Scranton Counseling Center and Advocacy Alliance.
