Clare Pozos Senior adviser, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Practice Profile: Pozos practices criminal law. She handles narcotics cases involving the dark web as well as public corruption cases. She advises the U.S. Attorney on new office initiatives with a focus on strengthening office relationships with law enforcement and community partners. Pozos also assists the U.S. Attorney in his communications with the public and the media. Leadership Activity: As senior adviser to the U.S. Attorney since spring 2018, Pozos currently serves on the seven-member executive front office team to advise the U.S. Attorney about all policy initiatives, criminal and civil cases and daily business of the office. She oversees the Office of Public Affairs & External Engagement, supervising employees engaged in all media contacts, law enforcement relations and community outreach for the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Pozos also serves on the hiring committee. Pro Bono and Civic Work: Last year, Pozos left her job at the U.S. Attorney’s Office—a job she loved—to run for U.S. Congress after Congressman Pat Meehan resigned. She traveled across the Philadelphia region and spoke with residents about the issues that mattered most to them. She withdrew her candidacy after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court changed the congressional maps. She also volunteers time to a local hospital and multiple local schools.
