The Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation (CEASE) Clinic at the University of Georgia School of Law is hosting a lecture next month by Pennsylvania Senior Deputy Attorney General Daniel Dye, the lead prosecutor in an investigation that led to the release of an explosive grand jury report last August outlining decades of sex abuse at dioceses across Pennsylvania.

Dye spearheaded the investigation into child sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic church that identified hundreds of priests accused of abusing children. Dye is set to speak at 3 p.m. March 25 in the Hatton Lovejoy Courtroom of the UGA law school’s Hirsch Hall. Dye’s topic is “Child Sexual Abuse and the Catholic Church: The Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report,” according to the flyer for the event posted on social media.
