Hogan Lovells represents KBR in the Houston-based company’s pending acquisition of Wyle in a deal valued at $600 million. Wyle, of El Segundo, California, is using a team from Dechert.

On May 23, KBR announced a definitive agreement to acquire Wyle, a provider of specialized engineering and professional, scientific and technical services primarily to the U.S. government. Terms call for KBR to acquire all of Wyle’s businesses through acquisition of shares with a merger sub-transaction structure. The $600 million price includes about $30 million in acquired tax benefits.
