A firm that sued two former associates and their firm obtained a temporary restraining order against them on July 9 and will go back in front of a judge to seek a temporary injunction on July 23.

Prince & Associates, an immigration firm in Houston, sued former associates Tolulope Kuteyi and Uzoamaka Mokolo on July 9, alleging they took copies of client files and firm-issued iPads to a new firm they formed in April. In the petition, filed in Harris County’s 295th District Court, the plaintiff alleges the defendants used the files in an attempt to “lure” Prince & Associates clients to their new firm, Kuteyi & Mokolo Attorneys at Law.
