Plaintiff recovers $3,135 for back and neck injuries

On March 21, a jury awarded $3,135 to a woman who claimed neck and back injuries. In 2009, Haley Rousseau was driving in Grand Prairie when Vanancio Najera pulled out of a restaurant’s driveway and they collided. Rousseau sued Najera for not yielding the right of way. Rousseau claimed neck and back sprains and strains and cuts and abrasions to her chest and upper arms. She also said her head hit the steering wheel or windshield. Her airbag deployed, as well. Photos showed significant damage to Rousseau’s vehicle. She underwent chiropractic treatment.
