Texas Lawyer turned 25 this year. To mark the anniversary, the editorial department selected the 25 greatest lawyers of the past quarter-century — a group of practicing counsel whose legal work and outstanding success have contributed to law and lawyering in the Lone Star State. Texas Lawyer published profiles of the 25 greatest lawyers in its June 28 issue.

On Oct. 1, Texas Lawyer held a luncheon to honor these incredible attorneys. Texas Supreme Court Justice Nathan L. Hecht and gubernatorial candidate Bill White, former mayor of Houston, were the keynote speakers at the luncheon, which was held at the Belo Mansion & Pavilion in downtown Dallas.
