U.S. District Judge Alan Albright has sanctioned the Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel attorneys who accused their opponents of promoting antisemitic themes in a patent infringement trial against an Israeli company.

“A bitter losing party’s difficulty in explaining its loss is never a proper basis for counsel to invoke baseless allegations of racism and anti-Semitism to request a new trial,” Abright wrote in a 12-page order in Freshub v. Amazon.com.
