A Munck Wilson Mandala IP team has secured a rare invalidation of a patent in the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Texas.

The winning lawyers persuaded Judge Sean Jordan to dismiss an infringement claim on the basis that it was made for an “abstract concept” for organizing a “longstanding human activity” that was “not patentable.”
