Attorneys with Thompson & Knight and Venable are representing a man who donated $2.5 million to a Houston-based nonprofit group that was suing over alleged voter fraud in the November presidential election.

Plaintiff Fredric N. Eshelman filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against True the Vote Inc., seeking the return of his $2.5 million contribution that was conditioned on the Houston-based nonprofit corporation using his funds to investigate and litigate election fraud, according to the complaint in Eschelman v. True the Vote, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston.
