So far, litigators have borne the brunt of a unique Texas precedent that allows a client to sue for legal malpractice outside the typical two-year statute of limitations.
But the Texas Supreme Court on Thursday heard oral arguments in a case that asks it to extend that precedent to legal-malpractice suits against transactional lawyers.
