Dallas trial lawyer Rachel Lindsay, star of the reality TV show “The Bachelorette,” was giggly, smiling and lighthearted after her suitors bared their chests and showed off their dancing and rapping skills during a group date on last night’s episode.

But Lindsay, an associate at Cooper & Scully in Dallas who graduated from Marquette University Law School, said she also wanted to test their “cerebral skills” and asked the men to participate in a Bachelor Nation Spelling Bee. “I think intelligence is very sexy,” Lindsay said. Considering that most of the men had been drinking earlier that day while on a boat trip with Lindsay, the test of their spelling skills didn’t go well for most of them.
