Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez has hired four women as he beefs up his executive team, which includes an attorney from the New York City Police Department who will now serve as Gonzalez’s second-in-command.

Gonzalez has picked up Nancy Hoppock, a former prosecutor who worked as general counsel and assistant deputy commissioner of the NYPD’s Risk Management Bureau, to serve as the chief assistant DA.
