A federal judge was reversed and rebuked by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday. An appeals court panel reversed U.S. District Judge Manuel Real for throwing out a plaintiff's case when an attorney failed to appear for a hearing that was noticed by e-mail only.
