Georgia GOP Plans Court Challenge to New Voting Districts

Georgia State Republican Party Chairman Ralph Reed says state Democrats have "pointed a gun at the Republicans and shot themselves" with legislative redistricting maps the GOP will challenge in court. Reed says the maps go "far beyond what the U.S. Supreme Court allows in using race as a factor in drawing congressional districts." The GOP's planned legal action might delay implementation of the new districts.
