A 10-Year Legal War Steams On

A 10-year legal battle between Litton Systems Inc. and Honeywell Inc. over the patent and marketing rights to an aircraft navigational device took another surprising turn with each side having a significant loss and a major victory and vowing further appeals. U.S. District Judge Mariana R. Pfaelzer tossed out Litton's patent infringement suit against Honeywell. But, Judge Pfaelzer upheld all but $90 million of a $750 million antitrust judgment awarded to Litton.
