Just weeks after the FCC approved the $17.6 billion split of Adelphia's assets between Comcast and Time Warner, it has ordered a judge to prepare for the dispute between Comcast and the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. MASN was created by Major League Baseball to mollify Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos, who did not want to share television territory with the new Washington Nationals team. Angered at being cut out of the deal -- Angelos owns 90 percent of MASN -- Comcast has refused to carry the network.
