But the ruling wasn't all good news for Samsung. San Jose federal district court judge Lucy Koh found that Apple was likely to prove at trial that Samsung infringed three iPhone patents. Still, she refused to issue an injunction because Apple hadn't shown that it would lose market share, customers or goodwill absent the injunction. The judge also questioned the validity of an iPad patent.
