Judge Loses in Court Fight With Daughter

Alameda County Superior Court Judge D. Ronald Hyde must pay his daughter $1,600, a small claims court ruled Monday. An Abuse of Trust

But now, Terzulli has pleaded guilty to embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from Glaser before she died. The case highlights the importance of California's Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act -- and shows how difficult it can be to prove that an older person is being victimized.
