Lawyer Sanctioned After Blowing Up at Process Server

When a lawyer is served with a malpractice suit, possible responses include throwing the complaint on the floor, ejecting the process server for trespassing and yelling "call 911." But all of those are wrong, according to a New Jersey judge who hit one of the state's leading health care lawyers with a $403 sanction order. Finding attorney Robert Conroy at fault, the judge called his conduct "ill-advised, unlawyerlike, and in my opinion, even outrageous."
