In a test of the federal Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act, Bargainbid.com obtained a temporary injunction against competitor Ubid and a Tennessee man who allegedly diverted consumers to Ubid's Web site. Bargain Bid alleged Perry Belcher registered the domain name, barginbid.com, to divert consumers from the company's Web site by using the common misspelling of "bargain."
