Judge Limits Winston & Strawn's Defense in Malpractice Suit
A New York Supreme Court justice has eliminated all but one avenue of defense for Winston & Strawn in a malpractice suit against the firm. The town of North Hempstead, N.Y., is seeking more than $36 million in damages after being found liable in a suit by the Sumitomo Bank of New York Trust Co.
