About 80 lawyers convened at the Mayflower Hotel on May 17. But they came to listen as lawyers from Boies & Schiller L.L.P. briefed them. Only until March, when Swiss vitamin-maker Lonza A.G. agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy charges did 36 other firms followed suit.
