Two Alston & Bird associates have started their own law firm after convincing former Fulton Superior Court Judge M. Gino Brogdon to leave Alston to join them. The firm, Brogdon, Davis & Adams, opened June 1 in Decatur, Ga. Brogdon's new partner, Jesse Davis III, says he was chafing at the lack of opportunity to get into a courtroom. Fellow third-year associate Chad Adams decided to join Davis in doing plaintiffs work, and the two asked Brogdon to come along as well, "to make the phone ring," says Davis.
