Major Lindsey Withdraws Lawsuit Against Former Recruiter

Major Lindsey & Africa has filed a notice to withdraw its lawsuit against a former recruiter, following sharp criticism from a federal judge about the validity of the search firm's case. The move came just two days after New York federal Judge Colleen McMahon issued an order warning that she was not interested in entertaining any "bogus" claims or "trumped up" charges. 'Rambo' Litigator's $50,000 Fine Voided

Judd Burstein caught the legal profession's attention when he was sanctioned $50,000 for "Rambo lawyering," which included a threat to "conduct the legal equivalent of a proctology exam on [another attorney's] finances and billing practices."
