The Bay Area's 10 highest grossing firms continued their upward climb in 2004, as the rebound of capital markets returned corporate work to Silicon Valley. Nine of 10 firms posted revenue gains and increases in profits per partner. Though most were in the single digits, the first-place finisher saw a 10 percent gain in revenue and an 11 percent hike in profits per equity partner.
