Book Closes on Elaborate Mortgage Fraud Scheme

Mortgage fraudster Matthew Cox wrote an unpublished manuscript that Assistant U.S. Attorney Gale McKenzie described as a "blueprint" of his schemes. The only thing missing, she said, was the final chapter. "We wrote it, not him," she said of federal law enforcement agents who sought Cox for more than two years.
