Texas Law School Improves Its Bar Pass Rate

For the first time since 1993, St. Mary's University School of Law is back. Back to the statewide average, that is, among Texas law schools when it comes to pass rates on the July bar exam. "It's harder to get in, and much harder to graduate from St. Mary's than it has been in the recent past," said Bill Piatt, dean of the San Antonio school.

TJX Says Information From 45.7M Cards Stolen

Information from at least 45.7 million credit and debit cards was stolen by hackers who accessed TJX's customer information in a security breach that the retailer disclosed previously, according to a regulatory filing. But TJX acknowledged it still knows little about the full scope of the breach, in part because the hackers accessed TJX's encryption software. The filing also said another 455,000 customers who returned merchandise had their personal data stolen, including driver's license numbers.
