Maker of Heart Device Sued in Florida Over Recall
A maker of implantable defibrillators for heart patients has been sued by two Florida residents after the manufacturer recalled the devices and the patients underwent a second round of surgery to install replacements. The litigation comes as questions are being raised about the long-term reliability of implant devices.
