Federal Judge Approves Diversification of IKON's 401(k) Plan

A federal judge in Philadelphia approved a creative settlement of a class action ERISA suit brought by IKON Office Solutions employees that calls for a rewriting of IKON's 401(k) plan to allow workers to diversify their investment of the company's matching funds instead of forcing them to buy only IKON stock. The settlement doesn't give the plaintiffs any cash payment, but allows their lawyers to seek up to $6.5 million in fees.
