WorldCom Creditors Seek Counsel

Creditors of WorldCom Inc. interviewed law firms Monday in their search for counsel to handle negotiations with the telecommunications provider. Sources said Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy was in close contention with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld. Also said to be in the mix: Kirkland & Ellis.
