The American Lawyer's interviews with more than two dozen attorneys show that although the war has been largely unfelt in Am Law 200 offices, it is intensely personal for those who have worked or served in the war zone. By serving, they also pushed against colleagues' unspoken assumption that wars are fought by someone other than lawyers.
