Where plaintiff alleges that the parties agreed that he was to receive a portion of the recovery based on his representation of one of the decedent's children, although the rules pertaining to the payment of referral fees do not apply because there was no referral, the alleged agreement did not conform to R.P.C. 1.5(e) and, therefore, plaintiff cannot recover for breach of contract; however, the evidence was sufficient to warrant denial of summary judgment on plaintiff's quantum meruit claim.
