The state Supreme Court has granted a one-year reprieve from mandatory pro bono obligations for lawyers providing services to families of World Trade Center attack victims through the Association of Trial Lawyers of America-New Jersey.

Lawyers completing at least 25 pro bono hours in ATLA-NJ’s Trial Lawyers Care program this year will be exempt from pro bono assignments next year.
